After arriving via overnight train early yesterday and a hearty hotel buffet breakfast Ray and I toured the Valley of the Kings, and got to see Tutankhamun himself, unwrapped and on display in his very own tomb! Given that this is such a big deal it’s amazing the lineup to see him wasn’t longer.
Out of respect (or fear) of Pharaoh juju I didn’t photograph the young king, but I did pose for the obligatory tourist shot outside. More new photos are waiting for you on my Flickr page.
