Principal photography on that video I’m doing for TD Bank wraps today; first thing tomorrow I’m blowing some of my earnings on a new PowerBook — hey, the latest Mac portable will make me a better writer, won’t it?

I’m not in the market for an iBook, but based on my trade-in experience with my G4 two weeks ago, it’s a good time to be selling a Mac. The resellers are advertising for used Macs, meaning that they don’t have enough sitting around for Christmas sales. I got pretty good money for my titanium powerbook and my ol’ G4 tower for a shiny, cheese-grater G5.
Hopefully, the aluminum powerbooks won’t scratch as easily as the titanium ones did….

I’ve always preferred plastic to metal myself; my new cell phone, a snazzy Sony Ericsson T616, is literally freezing to the touch after a couple of minutes outside. Thumbing out an SMS is hard enough =without= gloves on, thank you very much!
I’ve been thinking about getting a laptop but my finances are a little tight right now. If your interested in getting rid of it I might be willing to trade for some flash animation for feed the machine. If this interest you in the least let me know. Actually if you want any flash let me know, I dig your style and it might be fun to do something.
