You’ll hopefully have noticed two new upcoming events in the sidebar of this page. One is for the World of Comedy Short Film Festival’s Make with the Funny TV pitch contest. It’s a sign of the times that someone who’s actually had a show on the network must now get in line behind everyone else. Only in Canada…
Speaking of Canada, I’m also planning a short film for ACTRA Toronto’s Less Cut, More Action short film challenge, a more noble endeavour to raise awareness of the bleak landscape for film and TV folks in this country.
That and paying some bills should take me up until Christmas, where I’ve an incredibly foolish gift in mind for a special someone…
