For the first time in many years I’m actually excited about the 78th Annual Academy Awards tonight. Here are the two big reasons why:
- Apparently Mel Gibson plans to spend the entire evening speaking in Mayan. It’s not often enough that the world gets to see a Hollywood star self-destruct on live TV!
- Instead of watching the Awards in your PJs with a tub of Häagen-Dazs, you can watch it live at the Bad Dog Theatre—in fact, why not come down early and watch the special Oscar-Edition of Neutrino that I’m directing at 7pm? Admission for both is $20, but all proceeds go to the theatre, and not towards Mel Gibson’s next film…
