Superstar Blogger (and not at all worthy)

Let me be very clear on this: Nokia is absolutely not paying me for this once-in-a-blogger’s-lifetime opportunity. But they are treating us very, very well…

I’m writing this from my swanky room at Hotel Le Petit — a boutique property in West Hollywood where the four of us — actually five, including our mystery wrangler — are staying. Last night we ventured out into deepest, darkest East Los Angeles to see a friend of George Kelly perform. Today we’re going to try our luck on LA’s public transportation system,  as cramming into cabs for expensive rides through rush hour traffic is getting a bit tired.

Back to the reason for today’s post — yesterday Jon, Matt and I shared a cab ride in from the airport. One of the many things we talked about were all the A-list Nokia bloggers who could have gotten this gig — everyone from Ricky Cadden to Matthew Milller and beyond — but didn’t… Although I’m sure they were asked!

My point is, while you’ll see me and the guys joke around a lot about being superstar bloggers we’re all very mindful of our humble place in the mobile phone blog universe, and know damn well that we won the lottery to get here.
